Seller Concerns

Presented by Jennifer Hunt, HUFF Realty, 513-240-8373 , Feel free to connect with me if you have questions on this content or would like advice on your real estate needs. CONNECT A recent survey by Homes.com showed that some homeowners have concerns that selling their home could be a challenging process despite the fast-paced market. Below are three concerns identified as well as what it will take for homeowners to feel comfortable selling now as opposed to waiting. Will I be able to secure my next home before selling? With historicaly low inventory, a buyer needs to provide the seller leverage. While this leverage enables you to sell at a good price, it may also be used to negotiate time to find your next home. The purchaser takes advantage of today's price and low mortgage rate. In return, the buyer might lease the house back to you for a pre-determined length of time while you secure your next home. Will my current home sell for the asking price? Bidding wars are at an all-time high. When comparing the first quarter of last year to the first quarter of this year, the number of offers on homes for sale doubled to an average of 4.8 offers. Whenever there’s a bidding war, the price of the item for sale escalates. Will I get an offer without my home requiring work? The market is moving at a record setting pace. Many buyers are more willing to take on home improvement projects themselves in order to get the home they’re after. Realize that today’s competitive buyer's market likely renders these projects less critical to the sale of the house. If you're considering making a move, let's discuss your concerns and discover your opportunities in today's market.
