Kids Against Hunger
Today was a wonderful and busy day! We served at Kids Against Hunger packing food for the victims of Haiti's recent earthquake. That's my absolute favorite way to spend an afternoon. Serving God and others with my family and friends, making new friends, running into old ones.. such a blessing. There were many adoptive families there packing today as a group and it was so encouraging to see them there with their precious little ones. I couldn't help to feel Liam's absence a bit more accutely though. There seems to be a hole in my heart that won't be filled until the day I hold him in my arms. I wish he could know how much we love him. I miss him. Praying that I can rest in God's plan for all of us~

Travel Call
Well, we had our travel call! Which means we MUST be getting closer, right?? I have to say that even though I absolutely HATE having to leave my precious kiddos for two whole weeks I am looking forward to spending some time with my handsome hubby. His crackberry won't work over there! Thank the Lord he doesn't have the international version!
Our coordinator says we should plan on traveling in about 6-7 weeks! Hooray! We'll have him in our arms soon! I hope he likes lots of hugs and kisses. I've been saving them up for over a year!

New Pictures!
A family from my yahoo group traveled this week to adopt their daughter FuMei and were able to meet Liam and get a few pictures of him!! Doesn't he have the sweetest face? I can't wait to go get him. Lynn says that her son was videoing and that if Liam is in the video she'll send me a copy! Wouldn't it be great to hear his voice?! Praise God for this wonderful blessing!

FuMei
I am so excited!! Someone from my Yahoo group is in China picking up her precious daughter, FuMei right now! Her appointment to actually pick her up is at around 10:15 our time , which is about now.:) Pray that all goes well!!She's the cutie in the pink jacket and paper party hat holding Liam's sweet little hand. She's also holding the hand of another one of my group member's daughter , MeiLi, on the far left. MeLei is already here in the States and doing very well according to her mamma! Praise God that so many of these precious ones are being united to their forever families.
I'm hoping that FuMei's mom will be able to give Liam a hug and maybe snap a picture or two of him for me!! If so I'll surely post them immediately!
